The above infographic illustrates the power of solar. Bill Gates once said solar was "cute" implying it was not a true viable source to meet the energy demands of a 1st world nation. However the ability of solar to passively generate clean energy has become undeniable. It is not possible to collect all the energy that reaches the earth from the sun, but harvesting just a fraction of this energy from the available rooftop space available is not only smart - it is becoming more and more viable as pv panel production becomes less and less expensive.
